Just purchased this player. Very pleased his body design, but scared on by graphic interface :/ When Transcend will hire most cool gui-designers ?
And have some problem now — I want to get the new firmware (version 1.2), but all my attempts appeared unsuccessful — downloaded archive from TS Download Center does not opens, he looks like damaged or something like… :(, does can there is alternative link to this archive, or maybe anybody can send me this firmware on e-mail?
p.s. sorry for my english, not my favorite language o_O

some of people here have same difficulties with you, the version 1.2 works smooth on T.Sonic 840,
i’ll report this bugs to transcend manufacturer, meanwhile, i’m afraid you have to satisfied with OEM firmware, which is version 1.0, is there any inconvenience with this OEM firmware? please let me know
i’ll let you know, as soon as i get response from the manufacturer,

Actually i have no problems with firmware 1.0, but it seems that some functions doesn’t work correctly…
For example: at screensaver mode “blank” - screen is black, but screen highlight is on :/
And have a question about interface: can i customize graphic part of interface with some software? Or maybe exist alternative themes for gui from manufacturer for this player ? I want to change font-face that badly for read by default version :/
Thanks for your attention

You actually must have a sofrware CD with your TSonic. You need the MTV video converter from that CD. That program will convert your video file (.avi, .mpeg, etc.) to the .mtv file - then you just copy this file to TSonic and can see it by TSonic Video. Something like this.
